Mark Sherman, PhD
Dr. Mark Sherman received his PhD in psychology from Harvard University and is an emeritus professor of psychology at SUNY New Paltz.
He has taught, researched, and written on gender topics for more than 35 years. For the last 30, his focus has been issues concerning boys and young men, and he has written extensively on this topic for his blog on Psychology Today.
From 2012 to 2014, Dr. Sherman was editor of a blog for the Boys Initiative, “Boys and Young Men: Attention Must Be Paid,” which featured the writings of experts in the field. He has three sons and five grandsons.
