Author: Mark Sutton

Mark Sutton, MBA, formerly served as Director for The Boys Initiative and has been passionate about supporting male well-being for over 30 years. He has produced radio content for NPR, Air America Radio, and The Mother Jones Radio Show, and hosted the podcast Liberal Arts with Mark Sutton. As a gender expert, he has appeared on MSNBC, CBS Radio, The Tin Men podcast, The Chris Voss Show, and served as guest host for the TV show Men’s Net. Mark is also passionate about economic justice, having worked in the field of Community Development Finance Institutions (CDFI) supporting low-income communities and individuals where he focused on social outcome data and policy. He has consulted or worked for many male-supportive nonprofit organizations including the Global Initiative for Boys and Men (GIBM) where he co-authored the first-ever state reports on the Status of Boys and Men for California and Colorado. In 2024, released his debut book How Democrats Can Win Back Men and he currently writes the Substack blog Men and the 2024 Election. Mark lives with his family in San Francisco, CA.
