Renee C. Griffith
Renee Griffith is a passionate and innovative advocate and opportunity provider for children who come from disadvantaged backgrounds. As the Director of Cornerstone Christian Academy for the last 30 years, Renee has consistently developed academic opportunities centered on inclusivity for children who have suffered from parental neglect and/or cognitive and developmental differences. Her innovative approaches include the development of specialized curricula, facilities, and staff to support these situations, including piloting the school’s award-winning and nationally recognized S.T.A.R (Strategies, Tutoring, Assistance and Remediation) program for children kindergarten through graduation.
In her personal time Renee has authored two books on adoption. Her family has provided a temporary home for over forty-five foster children. Renee is a featured writer and frequent contributor for Brad Huddleston, writer of several books on digital addiction.
She has served the public as a locally elected official during which time she was appointed to serve as a commissioner on the ACTS (Association of Christian Teachers and Schools) School Accreditation Board. She has been a mentor for teachers and an educational consultant who has presented workshops and classes for educators from coast to coast.
She is a tireless advocate for boys and young men with a passion towards decreasing the learning gaps that affect this demographic.
Renee and her husband, Robert, live in Iredell County, North Carolina and have four children, one of whom was adopted. They have four grandchildren.
